Florence Wald Champions

Established in honor of Florence S. Wald, MN, MS, FAAN, the "mother of hospice and palliative care," our Florence Wald Champions are committed to continuing her legacy of compassion and commitment to excellence in hospice and palliative care. Their generous donations of $10,000 make scholarships, educational programs, and research opportunities possible.

Nessa Coyle Palliative Nursing Leadership Fund is named in honor of a pioneer in palliative nursing and the epitome of a clinician scholar. This fund currently supports a seminar on leadership at the Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care.
